Baan Talae Fun must have the best panoramic views across the Andaman sea to the south east rotating 270 degrees around to Pansea, Surin , Leam Sing and Kamala Beaches .
This supurb villa is perched on the top of the headland encompassing the Ayara Kamala Villa development and is accessed by a private road and an ancient Chinese doorway. This home is multi leveled but this is facilitated by an elevator that travels between the guest bedrooms and the living areas. The main living area is expansive with the entrance up the stairs providing stunning easterly views accross the lawn bordered by the kitchen, dining, living and master bedroom "salas" to the 260 sq/m pool and the Andaman sea beyond.
Chinese and Thai pieces comprise the majority of the decor with a 12 seat dining table presenting a backdrop of Kamala and up the west coast to compliment your meals.
The outdoor "Jacuzzi" Spa bath has the same stunning views whether to be enjoyed at sunset or better yet, sunrise.
The living room has all the Audio Visual requirements to keep young and old entertained or relaxed.
The kitchen has all the best equipment and is air-conditioned but the staff on hand are able to provide meals with prior arrangement should you require this.
The pool is an L-shaped infinity edged pleasure with a spa section. It is a contant 5 feed deep except in the spa area. The views from the edge require nothing more than a chilled drink with a cherry or an olive. A dozen or so pool chairs and umbrellas provide added comfort and shade. The adjacent sala is the perfect place for breakfast or a light lunch.
The Master bedroom is on this level and is plush in it's serenity and is the only room with a Spa bath. The guest rooms are situated with 2 rooms overlooking the Andaman sea and 3 overlooking Kamala Bay . All rooms have teak and lumphur wood interiors, full air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom with shower. The wood finishes are complimented with teak "elephant leg" beds and touches of Thai silk to remind you of where you are.
There is a gymnasium with multi station set and an excersise cycle. The house has an emergency generation that will supply basic systems during an unlikely blackout. Although efforts have been made to cater to almost every need, parents of young children should take note that due to the location and design, a higher than normal level of supervision may be necessary for enthusiastic and adventurous toddlers. |
